Notes:	Green Creek Education — Online Phlebotomy (Self-Paced + Weekly Clinicals) Launch your healthcare career with a flexible, high-quality phlebotomy program designed for real-world success. Our online, self-paced course lets you complete all theory at your convenience, paired with mandatory weekly in-person clinical labs where you’ll practice live venipunctures (“live sticks”) under licensed instructor supervision. Program Snapshot Format: Self-paced online theory + weekly in-person clinicals Timeline: Up to 10 weeks to completion Hands-On Requirement: Live sticks are required every clinical week (on consenting adult volunteers/peers, supervised) Outcome: Skills and confidence for entry-level phlebotomy roles and readiness for national certification exams (where applicable- price is not included in tuition) How It Works 1) Online Theory (Self-Paced): Progress through engaging modules, videos, and knowledge checks covering safety, anatomy, venipuncture techniques, order of draw, specimen handling, infection control, and professional standards. 2) Weekly Clinical Labs (Mandatory): Meet once per week at an approved lab site to develop and verify hands-on skills: Patient identification & consent Site selection & aseptic technique Venipuncture and capillary collection Order of draw, labeling, and specimen integrity OSHA-aligned safety, PPE, and sharps handling Professional communication & patient comfort Important: Weekly clinical attendance and completion of live stick competencies are required to pass the course. Missed clinicals must be made up (subject to availability). Students who do not meet the clinical and live-stick requirements will not complete the program.
