By the end of the program, students are prepared to confidently perform core clinical skills, communicate professionally in healthcare settings, and transition smoothly into entry-level medical assistant roles. Our Medical Assistant program is competency-based and designed to prepare students for real-world healthcare environments. While certification bodies do not mandate a fixed number of clinical hours, our curriculum includes structured skills training and documented competency check-offs to ensure graduates are confident, capable, and job-ready.

Clinical Foundations: infection control & PPE, vital signs, specimen collection & handling, venipuncture basics, EKG fundamentals, patient intake & triage
Administrative Skills: scheduling & front office flow, electronic health records (EHR) basics, documentation, professional communication, patient privacy/HIPAA awareness
Workplace Readiness: customer service in healthcare, teamwork, professionalism, and interview preparation

We periodically host optional in-person skills workshops to reinforce hands-on techniques (based on interest and availability). If you opt in, a background check, immunization records, or additional fees may apply—requirements vary by site. Ask us for current dates.
