Certified Medication Technician (CMT/CMA) is a CNA who has been certified for more than 6 months who has recieved additional training to administer medications to patients in Skilled and Long term Care Communities.

A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is a healthcare professional who assists patients with thier activities of daily living and provide basic care such as bathing, eating, dressing under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Praticle Nurse (LPN). CNA's work across the continuim of care such as Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing facilities, Hospitals and Home Health.

 

Students who are needing that extra help with hands on Practice for ther state CNA Mock Skills examination. 

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency, lifesaving procedure performed when a person's heart goes into cardiac arrest (stops beating). The life saving skills learned in this class can help maintain blood flow and in some cases, breathing until medical help arrives. The American Heart Asscoiation reccomends starting CPR with hard and fast chest compressions.

Learn this skill and be prepared to save a life.

 

 

This class is AHA approved and uses the curriculum of American Heart Association and meets OSHA requirements.

LIMA- Certified Med-Level 1 Class covers the preperation and adminsitration to residents/clients of medications in residential care facility I and II, Assissted Living and residential care homes.

Please Note: This course is 16hrs and is taught over 2 consective days.
