Certified Medication Technician (CMT/CMA) is a CNA who has been certified for more than 6 months who has recieved additional training to administer medications to patients in Skilled and Long term Care Communities.

A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is a healthcare professional who assists patients with thier activities of daily living and provide basic care such as bathing, eating, dressing under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Praticle Nurse (LPN). CNA's work across the continuim of care such as Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing facilities, Hospitals and Home Health.

 

This class is for students who have completed the CNA/CMT course at another state approved agency and need Clinical hours only. Students MUST have proof of completion (A/B form) from previous school. Document must be clear and legible and emailed to:

Certified Medication Technician (CMT) – Online Program

The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) program is designed for experienced CNAs who are ready to move forward in their healthcare careers. As a CMT, you will be trained to safely administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse — opening the door to more responsibility, better shifts, and stronger earning potential.

  • To be eligible, you must:
    • Be a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
    • Have at least 6 months of CNA work experience
    • Provide a letter of recommendation from a nurse or supervisor
  • Pass the background check

This program focuses on the safe administration of non-parenteral medications and prepares you to assist RNs and LPNs with medication therapy in long-term care and other approved healthcare settings across Missouri.

To begin enrollment and reserve your seat, a $250 enrollment deposit is required.
This deposit is applied toward your total tuition and activates your student profile in our system and app.

You will also need to submit your letter of recommendation and complete a background check prior to clinical placement.

A Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is a healthcare professional who provides hands-on, essential care to patients and residents. CNAs assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and eating, while also helping to monitor basic health needs. They work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

CNAs are vital members of the healthcare team and work across the continuum of care, including home health, assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and long-term care settings. Their role is foundational to patient comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Students who are needing that extra help with hands on Practice for ther state CNA Mock Skills examination. 

These sessions are for indiviuals who need certain topics thouroughly explained with Mock test in the same format as the "real test". We provide the 1:1 training that is indiviulaizd to you and your needs. Everyone learns different, we understand that and will work with you to get you closer to your goal of becoming a Certified Nurse Assistant.

These are CPR Cards. These cards are for CPR instructors (Green Creek SolutionsTS) purchase ONLY. THIS IS NOT a CPR/BLS class. 

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency, lifesaving procedure performed when a person's heart goes into cardiac arrest (stops beating). The life saving skills learned in this class can help maintain blood flow and in some cases, breathing until medical help arrives. The American Heart Asscoiation reccomends starting CPR with hard and fast chest compressions.

Learn this skill and be prepared to save a life.

 

 

This class is AHA approved and uses the curriculum of American Heart Association and meets OSHA requirements.

Insulin Adminsitration Training Course is intended to educate and train the particpants to prepare and administer Insulin in a skilled nursing facility or intermidiate care community or medication aide (Med- Level 1) in a residential care facility I or II.
